Locio presents Steel City White Wine, from the vineyard at Whirlow Hall Farm Trust, Sheffield.

Whirlow Hall is an educational trust that was established by Michael Hill and Alan Aikin in 1979. Both understood the importance of outdoor learning, particularly to those children that struggle in mainstream education, and decided to create somewhere in the countryside where inner-city children and those from challenging backgrounds could learn and grow.

Each year they help over 10,000 children and young people, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds and the inner city, to grow.

They inspire, nurture and expand horizons for youngsters so that they can make the most of their potential. Running programmes for children who are excluded, or at risk of exclusion, from mainstream education – they help them get back on track. They have activities for youngsters who have additional educational needs – to help them develop life skills, grow in confidence and reduce the risk of isolation.
